La Rioja benefits from a continental climate. The mountains help to isolate the region which has a moderating effect on the climate. They also protect the vineyards from the fierce winds that are typical of northern Spain.

95% Tempranillo , 5% Others. Its elaborated using carbonic maceration, a common practice in the Rioja Alavesa region. The entire bunch of grapes is fermented for 10 days. The temperature never exceeds that of 30ÂºC, even during the maceration process. It is then pressed and, finally, undergoes malolactic fermentation for 3-4 days.
